Buy CBD Oil – Premium CBD Drops from EU Hemp
CBD oils and CBD drops from Green Passion in three concentrations: 10%, 20%, and 30%. Full-spectrum CBD oil with hemp seed oil. All oils are produced using CO₂ extraction from industrial hemp and each batch is tested by independent laboratories.
CBD Oil Concentrations Compared
The concentration determines how much CBD is in a single drop. Higher percentages don’t automatically mean “better” — it just means you need fewer drops for the same amount of CBD. Which strength is right for you depends on how much CBD you want to take daily.
| Concentration | CBD per drop | CBD per bottle (10 ml) | Who it’s for | Price from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CBD Oil 10% | approx. 4 mg | 1,000 mg | Our best-selling oil. Good balance between dosing flexibility and yield. | CHF 39.90 |
| CBD Oil 20% | approx. 8 mg | 2,000 mg | Experienced users. High-strength CBD drops for maximum yield. | CHF 69.90 |
| CBD Oil 30% | approx. 12 mg | 3,000 mg | Maximum concentration. Suitable for dedicated CBD enthusiasts. | CHF 99.90 |
Tip for price comparison: Don’t compare bottle prices, but the price per milligram of CBD. A 20% CBD oil contains twice as much CBD as a 10% oil — so the price per milligram is much lower.
Full Spectrum vs. Isolate — which CBD oil is right for you?
We always recommend using a full-spectrum CBD oil. Besides cannabinoids, a full-spectrum oil contains all other plant compounds like terpenes and flavonoids. A CBD oil made with isolate contains only cannabidiol (CBD) and no other plant compounds.
Green Passion — Full-Spectrum CBD Oils
Green Passion CBD drops contain the full plant compound profile in addition to CBD: other cannabinoids like CBG and CBN, terpenes, and flavonoids. This combination is known as the entourage effect. A 2019 study by Russo and Marcu published in the journal Frontiers in Plant Science showed that cannabinoids and terpenes in combination have different pharmacological properties than isolated compounds. In practice, many experienced users therefore prefer full-spectrum oils. The THC content in all Sommerhanf products is below 0.2%.
Available in: 5% · 10% · 20% · 30%
Our recommendation: The Green Passion 20% is our best-selling CBD oil and a solid introduction to full-spectrum. If you find the hemp flavor too strong, switch to Green Passion 10% CBD oil.
Finding the Best CBD Oil — what matters in tests and comparisons
If you’re looking for the best CBD oil or a test winner, you’ll find countless rankings and comparison sites. Many of these use affiliate links — so the featured products aren’t necessarily the best, but the ones with the highest commission. It’s much more reliable to evaluate CBD oils yourself using objective criteria.
The four criteria that make a high-quality CBD oil
1. CO₂ extraction
Supercritical CO₂ extraction is the gold standard in the CBD industry. It works without chemical solvents and preserves the natural plant compound profile. Prof. Dr. Rudolf Brenneisen, one of Europe’s leading cannabinoid researchers, calls it the cleanest and most efficient method for extracting cannabinoids. Cheaper methods like ethanol or butane extraction can leave solvent residues in the final product.
2. Swiss industrial hemp
Swiss industrial hemp is subject to strict cultivation regulations: controlled THC content, documented supply chains, ban on certain pesticides. If you want to buy CBD oil online, you should look for this origin. Hemp from third countries may be grown under much less regulated conditions.
3. Transparent milligram information
In addition to the percentage, the absolute CBD content in milligrams should always be stated. “10% CBD” in a 10 ml bottle means 1,000 mg CBD. If the mg amount is missing, that’s a red flag. When comparing prices for CBD drops, the price per milligram counts — not the bottle price.
4. No healing claims
CBD oil is classified as a lifestyle product in Switzerland, not as a medicine. Providers who advertise with specific healing claims (“helps with anxiety disorders”, “cures chronic pain”) are violating the Medicines Advertising Act. A reputable provider gives factual information about their products. All CBD oils at Green Passion meet these four criteria.
Buy CBD oil at Rossmann, dm, or in the pharmacy?
CBD oil is now available in many places — from drugstores to pharmacies to specialized online shops. The question isn’t whether, but where you get the best value for money with consistent quality.
CBD oil at drugstores: Drugstores usually offer a very limited selection — mostly just one or two concentrations, often only as isolate. The product range is minimal, and full-spectrum oils or higher concentrations like 20% or 30% are rarely available.
CBD oil in the pharmacy: Pharmacy products are usually much more expensive, as pharmacies add their own markups. The quality isn’t necessarily higher — what matters are extraction method, quality, and hemp origin, not the place of sale. Many pharmacy CBD oils come from the same wholesalers that supply online shops.
Order CBD oil online: Specialized online shops offer the largest selection of concentrations, spectrums, and brands. At Green Passion you’ll find CBD oils from 10% to 30%, as full-spectrum. Plus, you get a much lower price than in pharmacies or drugstores — without middleman markups. Shipping within Switzerland usually takes 1–2 business days, and packaging is discreet.
In short: At Green Passion you get the same (or better) quality as in the pharmacy — with more choice, transparent lab analyses, and a much lower price per milligram of CBD. View all CBD oils
Carrier Oils Compared: MCT, Hemp Seed Oil, and Olive Oil
CBD extract makes up only a small part of the bottle. The rest is carrier oil — and your choice affects the taste, bioavailability, and shelf life of your CBD drops.
MCT oil (derived from coconut) is neutral in taste and is absorbed especially quickly by the body. Medium-chain fatty acids (MCT) are processed directly by the liver, which increases the bioavailability of CBD.
Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant. It has a nutty flavor and naturally contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in a 1:3 ratio. For full-spectrum products, it complements the natural plant profile. Some summer hemp oils use hemp seed oil as a base. Important: Hemp seed oil by itself does not contain CBD — that only comes from the added extract. When people search for "hemp oil CBD," they usually mean CBD oil with hemp seed oil as the carrier.
Olive oil as a CBD carrier is less common in Switzerland, but more popular in Southern Europe. It has a strong, distinctive taste and a shorter shelf life than MCT. On the other hand, many people are familiar with it and it is well tolerated.
In summary: MCT oil is the all-rounder — neutral in taste, quickly absorbed, long-lasting. Hemp seed oil is especially well-suited for full-spectrum products and brings extra fatty acids with it.
What the Research Says About CBD
Scientific research on CBD has increased significantly in recent years. Here are some relevant findings from current studies:
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) was identified in 1992 by Israeli chemist Prof. Raphael Mechoulam. It is a natural regulatory system in the body involved in many physiological processes. CBD interacts with the receptors of this system — unlike THC, it does not bind directly to the CB1 receptors and therefore does not cause intoxication.
A meta-analysis in the Journal of Clinical Medicine (2019) reviewed 34 studies on cannabidiol and concluded that CBD has a favorable safety profile. The World Health Organization (WHO) classified CBD in its Critical Review Report (2018) as "generally well tolerated with a good safety profile."
About the entourage effect in full-spectrum products: Ethan Russo, one of the world's most cited cannabinoid researchers, published the groundbreaking work "Taming THC" in the British Journal of Pharmacology in 2011. In it, he documents how terpenes and cannabinoids can modulate each other's effects.
Important: These research findings are not promises of healing. CBD oil is a lifestyle product, not a medicine. The body of research is constantly evolving, and individual results may vary.

How to Store CBD Oil Properly
CBD oil is a natural product and sensitive to light, heat, and oxygen. Store it cool and dark — a kitchen cupboard is enough, after opening the fridge is ideal. Close the bottle tightly after use. Stored this way, opened CBD oil will keep for four to six months.
Order CBD Oil Legally in Switzerland
CBD oil from Swiss industrial hemp with a THC content below 1.0% is completely legal in Switzerland — both buying and possessing it. It is not subject to the Narcotics Act (BtMG). This applies whether you buy your CBD oil online or in a physical store. All CBD drops at Green Passion meet legal requirements and are regularly tested by independent laboratories for their THC content.
