A CBD vape consists of a filling with cannabinoid distillate and a battery. At Green Passion there are two designs: the refillable vape pen with interchangeable cartridges and the Kush CBD Vapepen as a disposable device. According to the product information, all fillings are below 1% THC, the limit for hemp products in Switzerland.
The refillable vape pen in Switzerland
With the refillable vape pen, battery and filling are two parts that you screw together via a 510 thread. The CBD vape pen from Green Passion is an M4 battery with 290 mAh, compatible with CCELL, and is charged via USB-C. Later you only buy new cartridges, the battery stays. The matching cartridges are made in Switzerland. Shipping within Switzerland is free from CHF 100, below that it costs CHF 7.
What is in the CBD cartridge
Each cartridge contains 1 ml of full spectrum distillate with 55% CBD, plus up to 33% CBC and up to 12% CBG. The distillate contains no PG and VG, that is, no propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine, and it contains no nicotine. You will also find the same cartridges in the THC vape category.
The three varieties differ in aroma. The product pages describe them as follows:
- Gelato, sweet and fruity
- Cookies, spicy and fresh
- Zkittles, floral with citrus
The Kush CBD Vapepen as a CBD disposable vape
With the disposable device, battery and filling are permanently connected. The Kush CBD Vapepen comes filled, does not need to be charged and contains no nicotine. It is not refillable and is disposed of as a whole. Its filling differs from the distillate in the cartridges and consists of 40% CBD in a base of 30% PG and 70% VG with natural terpenes. Six varieties are in the range:
- Super Lemon Haze, sweet and sour
- White Widow, tangy and woody
- Strawberry Banana, fruity with citrus
- Blue Dream, blueberry notes
- Zkittles Special Edition, tropical and sweet
- OG Kush, earthy with citrus
CBD pen, CBD e-cigarette and nicotine vapes
In retail, the same device is also called a CBD pen, CBD vape pen or CBD e-cigarette. What is always meant is a battery with a filling that contains CBD.
E-cigarettes with nicotine are a separate product group. The disposable vapes from Elfbar contain nicotine salt with 20 mg/ml. With us, these devices are listed separately under e-cigarettes with nicotine. Which substance a device contains is stated in the product name and in the list of contents.
Best CBD vape pen: four details to compare
Whether a CBD vape pen suits you can be compared using four details. At Green Passion, all of them are on the product page.
- Cannabinoid content. It should be declared in percent, not as an advertising word.
- THC value. It must be below the Swiss limit and be stated on the product, otherwise you cannot check it.
- Base of the filling. Pure distillate without PG and VG or a mix with PG and VG.
- Connection. A 510 thread does not tie you to one manufacturer, a disposable device has no connection.
Buy a CBD vape: which set suits you
If you do not want to buy accessories, a Kush CBD Vapepen is the simplest choice. For the refillable pen there are several options. The starter set contains the pen and one cartridge each of Cookies, Gelato and Zkittles. The variety sets combine the pen with 1, 3 or 5 cartridges of one variety.
If you already have the pen, you buy single cartridges or the cartridges set with all three varieties. This way you change the variety and keep your battery.
