Buy CBD drops: full spectrum oil from Switzerland
CBD drops and CBD oil refer to the same product, some suppliers also speak of hemp drops or cannabis drops. A hemp extract containing CBD is dissolved in a carrier oil and filled into a small bottle with a pipette. The name drops comes from this format. The concentration is shown in percent on the label and indicates how much CBD the oil contains.
At Green Passion you get CBD drops as full spectrum oil from DOLOCAN in three concentrations: 10, 20 and 30 percent CBD, each 10 ml with hemp seed oil as the carrier oil. Pure CBD isolate in powder form is also available.
Full-spectrum CBD oil
Besides CBD, a full spectrum oil contains other compounds of the hemp plant: other cannabinoids such as CBG, as well as terpenes and flavonoids. THC is contained in small amounts. According to the product details, the THC content is below 0.6 percent in the 10 percent oil and below 0.9 percent in the 20 and 30 percent oils. The terpenes listed include bisabolol, caryophyllene and humulene.
CBD isolate
Isolate is pure CBD, without the other compounds of a full spectrum oil. The Premium CBD Isolat, <99.6% is a white, crystalline powder, neutral in taste and smell, and is obtained by ethanol extraction. You get it in a light-protected tin with 3 or 10 grams.
How the CBD extract is obtained
For CBD oil, an extract is first obtained from the dried plant material. The method determines which plant compounds remain in the extract and whether solvent residues may remain. The three full spectrum oils at Green Passion are made by CO₂ extraction, the isolate by ethanol extraction.
CO₂ extraction vs. ethanol extraction
In CO₂ extraction, carbon dioxide is brought under high pressure into a state in which it dissolves cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant material. Experts call this supercritical CO₂. When the pressure drops afterwards, the CO₂ becomes gaseous again and escapes. No solvent remains in the extract.
In ethanol extraction, the plant material is placed in ethanol, a type of alcohol. The ethanol dissolves the cannabinoids and is then removed again by heating. The method is cheaper than CO₂ extraction. If cleaning is not thorough, traces of ethanol may remain in the extract. For an isolate, further purification steps follow until almost pure CBD remains as a powder.
Hydrocarbon extraction
Here, hydrocarbons such as butane or propane dissolve the cannabinoids from the plant. The solvent is then removed using heat and low pressure. The yield is high. Because these solvents are highly flammable, the process requires special equipment with fire protection. It is not used for the oils at Green Passion.
Cold pressing and hemp seed oil
Cold pressing is used to obtain oil from the seeds of the hemp plant. The seeds contain hardly any cannabinoids, and the pressed oil is called hemp seed oil. In the full spectrum oils it serves as the carrier oil in which the CBD extract is dissolved. Green Passion sells pure hemp seed oil separately under hemp seed oil.
Concentration: 10, 20 or 30 percent CBD
The percentage indicates how much CBD the oil contains. Bottle size, carrier oil and extraction method are the same for all three oils, they differ in CBD content and therefore in price. The Starter-Set contains all three concentrations in one package.
The same product details also apply to storage for all three oils: keep cool and dry and protect from direct sunlight. Once opened, the oil keeps for six months.

FAQ about CBD oil
Like a full spectrum oil, broad spectrum CBD oil contains other compounds of the hemp plant, but the THC is removed during production. Green Passion does not currently carry a broad spectrum oil. The range includes full spectrum oil and isolate.
The THC content is decisive. Hemp and hemp products with a total THC content of 1.0 percent or more are included in list d of prohibited narcotics. The relevant law is the FDHA Ordinance on the Narcotics Lists (BetmVV-EDI, SR 812.121.11, Annex 5, as of 13 March 2026). According to the product details, the CBD oils at Green Passion are below 1 percent THC.
